Ranty RandyMy GREATEST & MOST HISTORICAL item in my collection (updated pic on page #2)olegreg, sorry to just get back to you on this. I've been a little busy and haven't been lurking much. I never really tought about selling the program. My mom gave me a box of old stuff that my dad had. He never throws anything away. In the box were several old LSU programs. One of them was from the LSU vs Ole Miss Halloween game. My dad attended the game that night. I was really just wondering what AT thought it was worth. I didn't realize that it was valued that high.

Its alright. Well if you ever want to discuss selling it or trading for it,let me know.

Funny thing about the photo, it completely over shadowed this patch. It belonged to Charlie Mac (I believe he had a few of them) and is featured in "The Football Vault" book (as someone mentioned earlier in this thread).

This patch alone was a GREAT find and is one of my favorite pieces (very hard to find)

I have done nothing yet, still need to see if I legally can do it. Going to meet with lawyers next week.

Of all the things featured in the "Football Vault", I have the following from that book in my collection (two of which I don't have anymore)

1938 Sugar Bowl program (no longer have it but easily obtainable)

1941 Songs of LSU

the patch

I don't have the real photo, but I have a signed copy of this one (he said he jumped off a BBQ pit for the shoot)

1958 NC license plate

59 Sugar Bowl pennant

Casanova SI

1979 USC program

1997 FLA ticket stub (gave it away on my site)

Nice photo man! I rarely venture over here into the rant, for obvious reasons, but this was well worth it.

What's crazy about that pic and I know this is morbid, but just about every one of those people are no longer here.

It's a great snapshot in time and transports you back to the moment. Awesome pic.

Good news, I was able to track down the owner of the copyright of the image and he gave me written permission to reproduce the photo.

Working on that now.

Antiquetiger, please update me with the latest on the reproduction of the photo. I'm really interested in purchasing a reprint if available.

REALLLY want that patch. I have something that I am going to frame, and want to add that patch to it. Framing memorabilia from 1958, and the patch would be the icing on the cake..... Please tell me you still have it, or know who to contact about it. If it sold, please put me in touch with the guy that bought it.

Thanks!
