I got two things today, this is the lesser of the two, a patch given to the 58 team to put on their letterman jackets (It came out of Charlie Mac's collection)

The following is now the greatest piece of history in my collection. I had no problem selling my 47 Cotton Bowl program to help pay for it.

I just picked up an original panoramic photograph of the first game in Tiger Stadium, Thanksgiving Day, 1924

It so big, I have to photograph it in sections

Up until last year, the turf looked the same lol. Nice man. Really nice! Now sell me that Bertman sign and we both could have a great day

That's really awesome on several different fronts- I bet there aren't many panoramic shots from the 1920's, much less from Tiger Stadium.

Really great. Is that scaffolding around the Memorial Tower?

Awesome Antiquetiger....

Quick question. I have found a 1950 Sugar bowl pendant that is in great shape, and also has a pin with it with a little football haning on it. Any idea if its worth anything?

There is one thing unique to the field in Tiger Stadium compared to all other stadium fields in college football today and this picture shows that the tradition started with the very first game!

Does it say LSU anywhere on it? If it does not, I would say(my opinion)approx $100.

If it does have LSU on it, approx $200 (easily more)

We run through the goal post and every 5 yard line is marked, not just 10 (see markers on side lines in picture?)

It does, has on the side of it names of some of the players, and it is purple and gold....its pretty cool looking. I'll probably keep and frame. Thanks for the info.

That looks pretty nice. Wonder how much that bad boy will cost to frame.

Like the photo AT, remember me if you want to sell it.

Would go well with my 1911 LSU-Tulane game photograph.

This is going no where. It will be the second to last thing in my collection I will ever get rid of, 68 Sugar Bowl watch will be last (actually, I will never part with the watch, so this picture is the last)

Tigger, do you have a Doc Fenton auto you want to trade for something?

The photograph shows LSU on the Tulane 3 yard line, on the drive LSU got to the 6inch line before giving the ball up.

I think I can find the play by play on this game given a little time AT.
