It wasn't just about making Cam Akers priority they also seemed to make Helaire a priority over Etienne. I think Juluke was the main guy pushing for Etienne since the beginning.

Um yes? Have you not thought about our rb situation next year? Worst its been in 10 years.

You have to go back a lot farther than 10 years.

So we knew he was the best RB in the state, yet we didn't feel he was as good as Akers? Care to look at his numbers versus Akers?

We had a coach who ate grass picking our recruits. What could go wrong?

Dabo's wife and Etienne's mom were best friends in college. LSU never had a chance.

Clemson offered after us. I guess he just wanted to get away.

Craig and Jaluke went all in on Cam Akers. They offered Etienne and he was going to commit but at the last minute Clemson came a knocking and he was able to shove the slow play act up LSU's arse.

You can blame CEO too if you want. He was driving the bus then but he fired Craig and Jaluke the day after signing day.

This same thread will happen for the next three years and then into his likely pro career.

He simply did not want to stay in state. It happens he loved LSU, still does and has many friends on the team. Fact of the matter is he simply wanted to move away. Good for him, he supports LSU to this day and texts Guice regularily.

His senior year he went to 5 LSU games, not a single Clemson game. I applaud the guy for taking a chance in life, moving away from his family and friends to pursue a dream.

He simply was not coming here, no shame in that. Props

Poor kid. Doesn't even know what it's like to beat Syracuse.......his "Real Death Valley" comment when he committed sealed it for me. POS

Had we offered very early on in his career he is probably in line to be our bell cow next year. But he wanted to go out of state cant fault him for that.

All of this. I know nothing about most recruits. This one I had some insight.
