My first lsu game. what are the festivities that i have to go to?

First step is to figure out what you want to do after halftime. Tigerland will be full of LSU fans.

Quickest exit strategy at halftime to beat the traffic

I will elaborate.

Get there early, find parking (there are a couple great free lots), get a rolling cooler and fill it with alcohol. Drop a pin on your phone's GPS at your car.

Then walk around and people watch/tailgating watch. If you find a tailgate run by people over that are older than 22 and tell them it's your first game and you are looking for advice and tips on things to see, I am sure they will welcome you and share food and stories in exchange for some of the alcohol you have in that cooler I mentioned earlier. If they don't, keep walking until you find a group that will.

A few hours before game time, Go take a look at mike's habitat, It's awesome. Around that time you will start to see people lining up along the road that is by his palace. You should also set up camp there until the band marches by and runs into the stadium.

Then you should make your way into the stadium, find your seats, get comfortable, and wait for one of the best pre-game shows in the country.

Enjoy the game, stay to the end, then follow the crowd out to the bars and drink heavily. when you sober up the next morning in the arms of a (Hopefully) beautiful belle, find your way back to your pin that you dropped earlier and go about your business.
