showing your Dad love and respect doesn't mean you always have to agree with him. this was a team loss....we will move on and hopefully learn more from this loss than your father did.

get better, get ready...get even.

Your dad says your birth was your moms fault, on the pill his arse.

J/k

Miles is the ships captain. Sink or sail it is ultimately on his shoulders.

Yeah because most arguments on here have real implications.

This loss is on our recruiting. We expected to have 11 guys this year that we don't have, and we apparently decided they didn't need backups, so we trolled the high schools for the blind, deaf and paralyzed for our back up plan if the would-be seniors this year weren't here. Helen Keller would start on this defense, and my grandmother would crack the two-deep at linebacker, even though she died 20 years ago.

Miles didn't get burned by UGAs second and third best receivers. Miles wasn't the one incapable of putting pressure on Murray. Miles didn't constantly over pursue and miss tackles.

True. He just recruited and taught the guys who did.

Like it or not, if the most sure-handed player in NCAA Football doesn't fumble a punt return for us we win.

No doubt that mistake was HUGE however, it was only one of many many mistakes by our team

That he should have told Chavis it wasn't working

Love it. First Miles interferes too much and needs to keep his hands off. Now he is too hands off and needs to interfere with his coordinators

The defense needs to change. We can go back a few years now to the same predictable defense. Athletic talent hides the coaching shortcomings on both sides of the ball. Chavis is a smart man. He can adapt.

But Miles didn't make adjustments so plays could have been made. If the players that you have in are not getting the job done it's time to make some changes.

What if the players not in the game are worse than the players on the field. Honestly do some of you not think at all?

AL scored TDs in both halves with one minute on the clock after LSU missed field goals.
Yes, that single play with Yeldon was the only time in both series we went with more than 4 rushing McCarron.
However, we basically let them go right downfield on both TDs. Even if we do not miss tackles on that last play, AL had easily gone right down the field with no pressure on McCarron and AL was in field goal range.

Don't like saying it, but there are a LOT of people who don't know dogshite about defense. Time to set the record straight about last year's Alabama winning drive.

1. LSU did NOT play a soft prevent. First play they were in tight zone, McCarron made a perfect throw ... one yard right or left the ball is intercepted. Play 2 - very tight man on Norwood, McCarron lobbed it over the perfect coverage. Play 3 - this is the play where the idiot announcers declared the defense was playing soft... and made half of America believe it. Bull hockey. The corner back blitzed, the safety deliberately played to prevent the deep ball. Inside coverage on the boundry was presumably for the LB, who fake a rush and fell back... into the interior. Play 4 - pass interference in end zone, uncalled. Play 5 blitz screen. LSU played solid defense that drive... got beat by perfect execution and a bit of luck.

fast forward to this game. There were of course weaknesses. Even the pros have trouble running the ball against top interior linemen. The problems in the secondary are not skill problems or coaching (if you look at technique) but almost all communication errors when Ga. lined up in a particular formation and switched routes. The CB seemed to adjust for one pattern when the safety was on another page. This is fixable.. but is not bad coaching.

Geez... the defense has less problems than the offense in my opinion. The situation at RB has now been exposed. Only 4 on team and NONE of them are top grade, but neither is the OL... YET. Heck, Alabama gave up 600 yards and their fans are not cutting their wrist and demanding Kirby Smart's head.

One last rant. Good god, get over the schedule, refs, mulligan games, playing for the NC when "you didn't win the conference," etc. No one rigged the schedule, no one is paying refs, LSU won the NC in 2003 against a team that lost their championship game (Ok lost to Kansas State), and Florida got a mulligan against Florida State in the '90s.

Never seen such a prolonged butthurt...

It's like people can't acknowledge that the Georgia Offense is actually really fricking good or something.

We have a young Defense. They weren't ready for that kind of efficiency on offence. It's not rocket appliances.

People like this guy's dad are the reason I limit my serious IRL conversations about LSU football to a very limited group of people. There are a lot of dipshits out there that are just clueless, but will try to convince you that they know everything.

There are a couple of friends in IRL that I have to avoid after LSU loses because of how irrational they are. They cannot have a rational, coherent discussion about the game. I have one specific friend that I cannot EVER discuss LSU football with because he has an irrational, general hate for Les Miles and that is all he wants to bitch about, win or lose.

It is a shame people have to be that way. I am as big of a fan as the next guy...I just don't let it invade the rest of my life.
