That dude was sick! Remember seeing him getting into his big black beater Caddie with "Too Tough" airbrushed at the top of the drivers door.

Terry Robiskie treated us good as kids. He is still coaching in the NFL.

Leonard Marshall

Lance Smith

I also have a few that did not do well in the NFL, or life, but really stepped up for LSU:

Carl Otis Trimble (Died at 22)
George Atiyeh
Ramsey Dardar

He was an NFL MVP and rode the pine.

Thats the difference between Bear and Cholly Mac. Bear would've revised his playbook for someone like Bert, Cholly would rather sit him down.

Can't believe no one mentioned Josh Reed...solid at LSU, 8 years in the NFL and (as far as I know) an all around good guy...

then there's this guy...

Ken Kavanaugh (November 23, 1916–January 25, 2007) was an American football player, coach and scout. He played college football at LSU, where he was named Most Valuable Player of the Southeastern Conference in 1939. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1963.
After college, Kavanaugh played in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears. His career was interrupted by World War II where he was a pilot in the European theater. He flew 30 missions and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters.[1] After the war, he continued his career with the Bears. Kavanaugh spent a total of eight seasons in Chicago.
Kavanaugh was hired by the New York Giants in 1955 as an assistant coach. He continued in that position until 1971 when he became a scout for the Giants. He retired from football in 1999.

From the 50+ perspective, Charlie Alexander4Heisman was very loved & got close to a SB ring with the Bungles. Damn 49ers!

Those I've really admired over the past 10 yrs. that also made the NFL: Travis "I play for the name on my helmet" Daniel, Joseph Addai (literally carried the team to the '04 win in the Swamp), Andrew Whitworth (OL anchor for 4 seasons), Ben Wilkerson, Bradie James, Marcus Spears, Glenn Dorsey, and Kelvin Sheppard.

Jeez...talk of the NFL and not mention the Packers of the 60's...and Jimmy Taylor. I think he holds a record that will most likely not be surpassed...figure it out..lol

If this is based on results in the NFL and at LSU the results are obvious. LSU only has 3 in the NFL Hall of Fame. Steve Van Buren, Y.A. Title and Jimmy Taylor..It is one of the three and I like Y.A. simply because of the pic with him on his knees and blood running down his head!

Faulk meant more to LSU. Huge HS prospect who stayed home to help LSU get out of the Archer/Hallman ditch.

Faulk...
