Definitely. Last year, he doesn't escape the sack at the end of the first half and we miss out on those three points. He did very well in this area. And the accuracy of course was noticeably better.

The 15yd out in the 3rd qtr to either JL or OBD with a CB underneath and a safety over the top was straight money. The ball was on the left hash so he threw it all the way across the field. The receiver makes his cut and turns around and the ball is there.
I can't begin to fathom how hard of a throw that is and the timing it takes to make successful.
Also, the third down conversions were awesome....third and long at that. It's only one game so let's just hope it continues and slowly gets fine tuned, as I'm sure it will.

I knew we were going to see an improved Mett with a season under his belt and with the improvement he was showing towards the end of last season, but this amount of improvement is pretty incredible. He is just looking so comfortable, confident, and in control. Just been one game but hard to believe that's the same guy that was out there last season.
