More Preseason Hype? LSU vs Oregon 2011 or LSU vs Wisconsin 2016

I never thought LSU vs Oregon 2011 and 60k LSU fans inside AT&T Stadium singing Callin' Baton Rouge would be topped, but with LF7's Heisman campaign, LSU's potential Top 5 ranking, the fact that this is the first college game ever played in Lambeau, I believe LSU vs Wisconsin may receive more hype than LSU-Oregon.
Just wanted to say that LSU-Oregon was off the chains awesome. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a late night romp with DFW's own Rachel Starr in my room at the Wyndham.

Oregon v LSU was a 3-4 matchup to start the season. I give it the edge.
There is only 1 Top 5 team here. Playing in Lambeau Field is the only X factor.

probably 2011 only because Bama is also playing USC that saturday which will take some of the attention away. two historic programs

The 2011 opener against Oregon is hard to beat. I was a student had the time of my life. The way the game went and the experience made it that much sweeter. Still the most fun I have ever had at a sporting event.

If Wisky was projected as a top 10 team then it could be.... LSU vs. The Ducks was much more hyped and lived up to it..{somewhat]. I think LSU blows the doors of wisky... They don't have near the speed that LSU does and don't come close to having the athletes LSU does....

Both Oregon and LSU were preseason top-5. The prognosticators picked Oregon to win their conference (and their assessment was accurate) and LSU v Bama was already viewed as the impending Game of the Century.
The game against the Badgers will be great. Wisconsin will be bring a quality game and that will help LSU's playoff bid. But neither the LSU nor Wisky are highly ranked nor presumed favorites to win their conferences.
So, from foresight, I say the game LSU v Wisky will be overshadowed by Bama vs USC. However, down the line, if LSU and Wisconsin both have great seasons, the game may take on greater-than-LSUvOregon-2011 level hype in hindsight. I'm hoping this scenario does unfold.

LSU vs Oregon for sure. Oregon coming off a tough loss against Auburn in the Natty and looking for redemption against an SEC team. Also the CONSTANT hype around Oregon and their supposed speed blah blah blah against a stout SEC defense in Jerry World. I don't expect us to blow the doors off Wisky, but I don't the game will ever be in doubt.
