I'm guessing cleared by the NCAA in August and cleared by the SEC in March...

Possibly on that boat to China that Valentine's was on a year or so ago...

I have a feeling the whole clearinghouse process is still going to screw us over on this

I'm pretty ignorant as far as how the clearinghouse process works, but is it really expected to take a long time?

I mean this goes far beyond football. We're talking about a kid working his tail off to get the test score needed to attend college and earn a degree. It would be a travesty if someone robbed him of that.

The Clearing House is now called the NCAA Eligibility Center. Here is a link to the process.

Best wishes to Bid Ed & hope he's ready to roll in a few weeks for fall practices.

By the way, does any athlete ever take the SAT any more? Is it that much tougher than the ACT--just wondering.

The SAT is not common in Louisiana at all. The only people I knew who took it were all looking at private schools out of state. Everyone who was going to a Louisiana state school only took the ACT.

I have no idea why that is or how it came to be that way, but that's just how it works.

Ed Alexander and Travonte Valentine - that is some big young talent for Bebe to work his magic on. I hope they both can contribute this year.
