Truth be told, unless they are buying from the bookstore itself, ULL gear is hard to find even in Lafayette... Most of the places that sell sports gear have to sell LSU and Saints gear also to pay the rent and bills for the ULL gear that doesn't sell...

La Tech and ULL both puffed up wanna be's. La Tech Brad did you run a scientific poll on who has the most recognized names or is that your opinion. They are scared to play ULM or ULL for that matter with the idea that they are seperating and bettering themselves. They are all still State schools with much less talent than LSU and with very little difference from any other state school in Louisiana. Not my opinion, but fact. Verify with any recruiting service.

I went to see them play Arizona last year. I had to correct the PA guy when he called them "Louisiana." LSU is Louisiana. Sorry ULL guys.

There are plenty of people who support both schools. Not sure why the UL mindset upsets so many.

Lets be real, at most colleges, with the exception of maybe Tulane, there are more LSU fans than of that school itself.
Go take a walk on Southeastern's campus, any given day you'll see 5 times more LSU shirts, hats, etc. than Southeastern gear.
Probably more LSU stuff being worn by the students on that campus than the bookstore has as Southeastern merchandise.

I had no idea the level of dislike a lot of oh-la-la fans had for LSU until I started dating a girl that went there. Apparently they think we're all frat assholes wearing polos, visors and khaki shorts to sleep at night. I never really noticed it when I went to LSU (never into frat thing) but now that shes told me that I notice the frat every where.
Just my two cents.

I can't wait till we destroy them so they shut the frick up. A bunch of ULL players called me asking me to fight because I made a post on FB about how shitty their center played in NOLA bowl. They have such an inferiority complex that it is pitiful. Nobody gives a frick about them.

I got nailed a bunch of times on papers with this. That's how I knew.
ETA: just looked it up, the ruling is loose and can go either way on this.

It would suck, and suck HARD, to be a fan of that school.
