Ben Simmons got paid more money than anyone who posts on this board before he ever signed a pro contract, just for wearing a certain brand of shoes.

Ben is already competing for the US but the morons here hate Ben.

Every excuse in this thread about going pro for Mondo is an excuse for Ben.

Except Mondo won big while at LSU, including winning a national title.

You continue the LSU family of Duplantis greatness.

I expected Simmons to try hard in more than a handful of games. I expected Simmons to LEAD his team to a good season with a NCAA Tournament birth. What we got was a team that couldn’t get along with each other, in part because of Simmons lack of caring and lack of desire to even play along and show up for class. We got a #1 draft pick player who was scared to take the ball in the last minute and make a game winner.

Mondo was a great teammate and he competed at the highest level his entire time at LSU.

You have a good point there. He sucked so bad he was the first pick in the NBA draft.

Amazed he was the first pick in the NBA draft and has been an all-star every year. He has everyone fooled doesn't he?

Would you if you were going to make 100 times more than you make right now just for the brand of shoes you wear?

Wow, you watched one game that season. Well congrats to you. One whole game that LSU apparently lost.

Just like the guy who ended up being the first pick in the NBA draft and a multi-time all-star at the highest level making a whole lot of money. You remember who Ben's best friend was before and during his time at LSU?

I'll wait for you to do an internet search.

Simmons team in Philly is falling apart as well. He’s too lazy to work on his jump shot.

And I watched every game that season. I ran several of the in game threads on the Rant for that basketball team. I was paying aftiention.

Is that why he made the all-star team this season?

And hate Ben.

Did you watch any T&F?

I can't understand why you think there is a huge difference between Ben being a one and done and Mondo being a one and done.

Did Mondo smile at you before he did the pole vault?

I said it earlier. It’s not that Ben was one and done. It’s that Ben gave questionable effort while here and his team vastly underachieved, in part because of him.

Congratulations, Mondo! But when the Olympics come around, who should we pull for the most, the American vaulters or the Swedish vaulter?

This. T&F just isn't as popular in the US as it is and Europe. Especially the field events.
