Does LSU let the publicity stunt go and go with it full force let ESPN and all other media outlets go crazy with it? or...do they just play it off like nothing is different?

I think this is stupid. We have kickers on scholarship, she should also be concerned about her future soccer career or concentrate on a journalism career.

yea not a fan of this at all. this team doesn't need silly distractions like this. We have a national title to win this year.

she could increase her brand value if she makes the team and as much as gets interviewed in uniform for any game, even as a not-playing walk-on. I'd save her for when LSU drives down the field when beating Bama on national tv by 21-0, and instead of taking a knee, let Mo kick a FG to beat Bama 24-0.

if she can make field goals i dont see anything wrong with it. not sure why everyone is up in arms over it.

I dont think much would have been made of it. especially considering we have plenty of kickers on scholly right now. Im sure les could use that as the reason instead of saying she can't make it because she is a girl

Honest question: How is it that a female can be allowed to try-out for a male sport, but a male cant try out for a female sport. For example, does this now open the door for a male to try out for the volleyball team since the school does not provide a mens team? I guess I just dont understand how the try-out can be allowed at all if its a mens sport.
