I think Rueben will catch a couple of passes and be the 3rd or 4th receiver. Claiborne will play a little, maybe if Peterson is tired and needs a quick rest.

I think Rueben will be the 2nd receiver next year. Claiborne might become Jai's back-up and split time with him this year kind of like how Jai and Hawkins split up playing time opposite Peterson this year.

Jai is good in run support. Hawkins is generally better in coverage, but possibly our worst defensive back in run support.

Jai Eugene is freaking horrible.

Jai starts next year and plays pretty much all the snaps if healthy

Both will sit the bench during the bowl game. Seniors must play first regardless who is the best.

This "seniors" first myth needs to stop. Plenty of underclassmen contributed this year, including 3 true freshmen (Shep, Randle and Downs) who got significant PT.

Now, it may well be that the staff in close games has a bias in favor of an upper classman who they better understand how he will react and know he has the experience to succeed in the situation as opposed to talent but inexperience and no idea how he will react. But that's simply prudent.

I know I can't win you all over on a message board but for the honest LSU fan, don't listen to this shite.

Main thing is to win the game. In a tight game Randle will get a few snaps and Claiborne won't get any. You don't give up a chance to win the game just to give some freshmen playing time.
