The AP poll this week has:

1) Fla St
2) Ohio St
3) Auburn
4) Bama
5) Mizzou

If Oh St loses to Mich St (very possible)
& Mizzou beats Auburn.

Does Mizzou jump Bama and go to #2 or,
Does Bama move up to #2?

mizz moves up past bama with a win over the team that beat bama of recent and an SEC championship.

both teams have 1 loss, but mizz would have 1 more victory over the team that beat them.

mizz's only loss was in double OT without their starting qb

Bama will find some way to whine themselves into the game a la 2011.

There will be a 1 loss SEC Champion and a 1 loss team which finished second in the SEC West. If they elevate second place in the West over the champ, there will be riots.

Missouri jumps. No question.

If they don't, I'll be ordering my Bama conspiracy theory tin foil hat on Dec. 9.

The only reason it was palatable in 2011 was because of the rematch factor (although I still think its BS that Okie State didn't get the nod).

If Bama somehow gets voted in over a 12-1 Missouri that wins the SEC, I think the public backlash would be much more severe than in 2011.
