like i said. i cannot argue with that. i give les leeway on 05 and 2016 when maybe i shouldn't. he still failed epically. the 1 west title the last 8 or 9 years depending how you want to look at it tells a huge story.

LSU's QB performed far better once Les was fired. Perhaps Les' biggest problem was never having a sold QB other than Matt Flynn. His offenses always underachieved.

Get a fricking clue.
you need to learn what performances are and why miles was fired. you think it was an automatic win if miles was here?? based on previous games? did you feel that way on 1-9?
Here is what I know,
11-25 head coach record.
134-34
I wanted Miles Fired. Didn't want O hired.

All of us feel that way genius but that wasnt the hand we were dealt. How long do you want to continue the pity party?
Once O started making positive change... I got on board.

Need I remind you of 1/9....where Miles vaunted and potent offense couldn't cross the 50...much less score points.
No Red, you don't need to remind me of 1/9. Abe made a comment about the way Miles attacked Bama. I responded to Abe about how Orgerons offensive approach was the exact same as Miles approach the past few years.
I also added that the only difference was Miles team scored some points each game.
Now, just so you know, cause you seem to have trouble understanding what people have posted sometimes, when I said "past few years", I was referring to 2015, 2014, maybe even 2013. I wasn't going back half a decade.
It's funny how you don't have a problem going back 5 or 6 years to get a shot in to Miles, yet you and a ton of other posters scream bloody murder when some people bring up Oregeons record at Old Miss.

Come on man, that's how this works.

2015-16 you can call a failure for Les but not 2005. Yeah that team was stacked but in retrospect even if we go undefeated we don't win the NC because Texas and USC ran the table. Plus in fairness to Les, it was obviously an extremely difficult set of circumstances to start his tenure.

Yeah, I know. I've been around long enough to know how the Miles haters operate.

Based on the fact that miles under performed here
miles took over a far worse situation at Oklahoma State than O had at ole miss and miles had them having 3 straight winning seasons and had them winning 8&9 games.
Ed Orgeron's totals wins during his ole miss tenure- 10 wins
Miles' 2003 season at Oklahoma State- 9 wins.

Some of these jerk-offs don't care about the 2005 team having to deal with the storms that hit Louisiana that year. Nothing but excuses as far as their concerned.
I've had some of them respond to me that they turned on Les during the Tennessee game. The second game of the season.
Absolutely amazing.

I see...so cut Miles slack for extenuating circumstances in 2005
But....no such circumstances existed when O took over mid season 2016....is that what youre saying?

No Red, that's not what I'm saying. Direct me to any of my posts where I've condemned Oregon for the 2016 season. Any at all.
The worst that you'll find is one where I said that the Florida loss pissed away the Sugar Bowl and that it was disappointing.
Anything other than that, you'll have to refresh my memory. There's one thing that I know for a fact that I can claim that you can't. I have never bad-mouthed Oregon or Miles (or any LSU coach) for decisions or blunders made while being the head coach. He wasn't my choice, but I haven't crucified the man.
Sorry Red.

Are you comparing dealing with 2 major hurricanes that disrupted the first month of the season to taking over for a fired coach ?
Dispite the extenuating circumstances in 2005, Miles won the SEC West, clobbered a top 10 team in the bowl and finished #5. O did a nice job but in the end beat teams he was supposed to and lost to the better teams he played just like at USC.

Coach O will be as good as his coordinators. That's fine with me if he keeps bringing in good ones.

Miles was a gutless eunuch his last few years. Yellow teeth would have pushed his shite in a big way that game.
You guys are bringing it tonight.
Les won the last 3 and 5/6 against florida. Absolutely no logical person would think he couldn't beat them at home while florida has 4 starters out. Its just illogical.
And we're the morons? lol
