Less Miles gets his azz handed to him by Fla and we dont rack up anywhere near 400 total yards offense.

Les beats Florida.... he beat them 7 times. LSU only bet UF 5 times in 20 years prior to Les.

2005. Yeah that team was stacked

The team O just inherited has a higher average recuiting ranking than that 05 team.

i say he was castrated on 1-9
Having to play Jarrett Lee and the ensuing pick6 escapades castrated him. 21-0 doesn't happen without the freaks, TM especially, breaking backs and stealing games all year.

Les Miles, the luckiest dumbass in college football history

What a joke
you talking about Les Miles or Coach O? Because that's exactly what both of them did

we had a thread on this quite some time back. Yes, the D and ST was awesome that year. both not only scored plenty points to help the O but they gave us very good field position also.

You mean the freaks he recruited?

Look I get Miles fatigue and it was time for him to go, but people like you that want to dismiss anything he did as "luck" are pathetic, you deserve another Mike Archer/Curley Hallman run.

LSU is talented but we're not on the same level as Bama. No one is

So before O takes over it's "We're just as talented at Bama and we can beat them."

Now that O has taken over, it's "we're just not on their level." More lowering of expectations.

Hate to tell ya but Guice went the wrong way or he walks into the end zone. That coupled with the Jackson fumble cost us the game. That had nothing to do with O.

Coach O couldn't come in mid season and change the whole offense we had been practicing this for 8 months so all they could do was try to get some wrinkles out of it that's it. It was still Les and Cam offense so of course they didn't score against Bama I guarantee that wont be the case this year

You bet your arse had that game been played under Les people would place those mental mistakes squarely on his shoulders. Curious why O gets held to a lower standard

This. Hell, even the Wisconsin game you could attribute to the terrible int thrown by Harris to end the game.

The fact is, the Wisconsin game and the Florida game should have never come down to that.

. Well we can't expect much. We already are talking like we are a bunch of scrubs. This team is in great shape talent wise, but LSU fans are conceding games to power programs left and right

Alright genius. Why didnt they try those 'wrinkles' against Bama?

They actually had a great gameplan against Mizzou, it was a thing of beauty...then they pucker their butt against Bama. There were numerous plays that had worked since O took over, and they used none of them. So basically, he made changes to Les' Offense, then changed back for Bama. O coached incredibly scared.

Thats on O, not Les. He tried to keep it close, instead of WIN.

Yep. He knew that if he got blown out he wasn't getting the job (who knows if that was actually the case now). He coached that game very scared.

Well in that case, if Les and Cam shoulder the blame for the Bama offense then they get credit for our offensive outputs against Missouri, Arkansas and A&M
