If Lee had led a comeback, LSU would have been 14-0 and national champions. How would Les have been proven wrong in a perfect season?

You are correct, but since Les refused to put JL and/or Mett in to try to at least mount a come back we now can see what a cancer JJ has been to this team. Les has consistently put JJ feelings over the team. You see it all the time when a player believes his play could hurt the team he pulls himself or motions for someone to take his place. Not JJ because it is always somebody else at fault. He could have went over to Les and said try JL or Mett because we need to win this thing or fake an injury.

You think Miles would risk his freedom on this?

If caught fixing a game, losing his job would be the least of his worries. Learning how to love prison sex would be at the top of the list, though.

Miles had no intention of giving Lee a shot at leading a scoring drive, let alone a come from behind victory

I said this very thing and everyone in our suite agreed with me. There was no way in hell he was going to let this happen.

People will laugh but I felt the same way. If JL had rallied the team it would have made Les look like a bigger arse that he already looked. He already stated that playing JL the first 8 games was a burden. Les needs to pack it in. He put his own vindictiveness ahead of the team.

We were not the ones who formulated that losing game plan. Can we all say pathetic. How do you think the offensive coaches feel having their names attached to that mess? That was Miles all the way.

Miles was wrong to not put Lee in.-- Bottom Line. JJ wasn't getting down - he should have been pulled and at Least given Lee and the team a chance.

Pitiful coaching -- too busy getting his own awards instead of doing his job....

This was humiliating--the WAY we lost-- I don't blame the players -- I blame Miles

I supported Les's decision to play Jordan up to Jan 9. There was absolutely no reason to at least give Jarrett one series when the current plan was not working. I now feel sorry for the team and Jarrett Lee. All this talk about next year being a better team, all I want for next year is that they finish the season with a bowl win.

This could be posted to any number of conspiracy threads about why Lee did not play, but I'll post it here. My theory: Lee may be mentally unstable. Miles loves Lee. Miles promised Lee's dad he would not play him fearing the boy would go over the edge if he performed poorly again against Alabama. Something may have happened after the first Alabama game that scared the crap out of some close to Lee. Its the only explanation. The players and parties to any other theory would be too numerous and not smart enough to have kept any other reason for Miles not to play Lee a secret this long. I really hope I'm wrong and its a lot simpler than this, but I can't wrap my head around anything else that makes sense.

I agree. Since Miles was so convinced that Lee couldnt get it done, with so much being at risk. Where were the:

Fake punts?

End arounds?

Counter plays?

Halfback passes?

Reverses?

Where was any play put into effect that showed Miles desperately wanted to win, without turning to Lee?

Anyone? Buehler? Ferris Buehler? Anyone?
