I agree. Miles would have been embarrassed if Lee had come into the game and performed well. He would then be revealed as the poor evaluator of talent that he is. Assuming Miles actually believed that JJ was the better quarterback, he was clearly and obviously mistaken. And I have yet to see anyone who thinks Lee didn't deserve a chance in the BCS championship game. The only remaining explanation is irrational. So yes, folks, I do think that Miles didn't want to be embarrassed by a successful performance by Lee.

The Lsu fans started booing after Jefferson pitched the ball for and interception

The booing was from Bama fans who thought our pathetic QB roughed up their LB too much.

BS, Miles would have gone into stands and put your sorry as* in the game if he thought it would make a difference. He's a great coach with a stupid fan base. We have crazy fans at Bama but if our coach got us an SEC Championship, beat the NC team in their house, and got to the BCSNC game undefeated, their ain't no way he gets this kind of criticism. How do I know that? Coach Bryant 1971 got his as* kicked by Nebraska 38-6 and the reaction from the fan base was at least we got a chance and bagged another SECC. WTF LSU fans?

and pass on a nat'l championship, legend status, and a million dollar raise? riiiiight.

I honestly just think that Les thought JJ was Lee's equal as a passer, only with mobility. thus, in his eyes, a better QB and a better bet to stand up to Bama. do I agree with that thought process? hell no. but I think ppl are reaching too much with the conspiracy theories/ pride stuff. Les just thinks JJ is better.

Yeah... he much preferred to lose a national championship game.

There should be a "Hall of Infamy" on this board for stupid posts. I nominate yours.

I have an easier time believing the sun will rise in the west tomorrow. Miles would've sold his children for a win on Monday.

I'm going to need to wash out my mouth with soap after saying this, but I agree with this BAMA fan 100%.

Seriously. 17 million people saw what happen and the LSU student section yelling Lee's name. Where were you when this happened?

C'mon man - give it a rest.

JJ played one good half (against Ark) this year.

That's it.

WKY sucked as did Ole Miss. Can't count those. Lee would have put up just as good, and based on his season performance, if not better numbers.

Les knew that going into the WKY game. If Lee lights up WKY and Ole Miss, then Les has a hard time putting JJ as starter. LES WANTED JJ!

It backfired and cost us any chance of a title.

Deal with it.

Intelligent debate doesn't have to be that hard.

I'm just blown away at the reaction to losing the BCSNC game. LSU is the 2nd best team out of 120 in the country and won an SECC. And half the LSU crowd wants to hang him. That's nuts. Not to mention you'll be preseason #1 again because the entire team is coming back EXCEPT the QB.

If Lee had led a comeback, LSU would have been 14-0 and national champions. How would Les have been proven wrong in a perfect season?

Stupid thread.

Explain the reports of players blowing up at the decison makin, if they thought he was really making a difference

Sorry the man too prideful. When you make 3.75 mil and have a huge buyout, money does not move your pride
