Miles Set Up Jennings to Play Poorly

I'm saying it here. Miles set up Jennings to play poorly. Look at the stark difference between the offenses they have been running. Jennings has one receiver on many of his passes, he had no opportunity to throw the ball to an open man or make a read. Harris has had 2-4 receivers on each play in a primarily shotgun offense, allowing him to read the field and pass to the open man, or have a better chance of running it himself and gaining yards. The RBs and linemen and TEs all are much more successful in this type of offense as well, the blocking becomes better and running lanes open up.
Now I'll make this clear; I'm not arguing Jennings is a better QB, nor do I think he deserves to keep the starting role. However when we have seen Jennings run an offense similar to what Harris has run the past two games, he has been just as successful (Arkansas 2013, Wisconsin 2nd half). Harris deserves the starting role and is very talented and has been successful, however much more is going on here than one QB playing bad and one playing well.
That all being said, tell me why I'm wrong Rant, or maybe even tell me why I'm right
EDIT: edited to clarify that no, I don't think Miles threw the Miss St game, as so many of you interpreted my post as. I do however think Miles has placed Jennings in a position where he can't succeed, vs the offenses he has run where he has been successful. Harris has been allowed to run an offense he can be successful in. Point of the post was the poor play with Jennings at QB has less to do with him and more to do with the coaching decisions when he is in the game.

You're looking into that way too much
It's been well known that Harris struggled under center
ETA -
Jennings came out in I-Formation 2 WR sets 37% of the time he was in the game.

LSU pays Les 4 million a year to lose games intentionally.

Dumbest shite I've read yet

I dont think he set him up to fail; but at the same time plays weren't called to his stregnth either. Short jump passes would have worked great for Jennings but they were never called. I wondered in the last game why he was throwing bombs down the field when short passing routes should have been called just to give him so reps and practice before auburn.
So let me repeat.. i dont think he was set up; but play calling wasnt to his advantage

Because if we ran the spread with Jennings our offense would have been even worse. He can't throw, except a nice deep ball, but that's all he looks for. He doesn't make his reads and progressions that well. And he's extremely inaccurate and just throws the ball up for grabs half the time.
Jennings can't run the spread offense at this level.

Dude --- read today's Dandy Don Monday Morning Rewind --- Scott does a pretty good job of laying out exactly what sets and "offense" both Jennings and Harris were running.
Your post is inaccurate based on FACTS. Les Miles doesn't set anyone up to fail... sometimes shite happens, but it is not because anyone was set up to fail.

I don't know if it was intentional or not but yes, yes he did. The second half of the Wisky game should have told the hardhead he needed to at least spread the defenses a little bit but did we against NMSU? No, not until Harris came into the game.

read what you are suggesting. and then once you realize how dumb you sound, gtfo

why would he have to set up someone to lose? that makes no sense at all.

You nailed it. Miles wanted to lose to State. He also wanted our QB to play poorly because....well I guess there's no reason behind that one since he could have put Harris in whenever he wanted.
Now onto you, stop being miserable. Stop over analyzing everything. You admitted Harris should play. stop complaining.

What are Jennings strengths? You mention short passes being his strength but that is actually his glaring weakness.

We ran that with Jennings vs. New Mexico State and he was terrible.
Harris has a rare talent in his arm. There are very few QBs on any level that can make the throws that he can make.

you are idiot. Jennings didn't play lights out like Harris did. when harris got his chance he shined. The fans and coaches support and any player they put on the field as long as we win games.

The mind is a terrible thing.

He routinely missed his short pass attempts, never looked off primary receivers (even when multiple receivers were present and open), and made some poor decisions in option situations.
Nothing against Jennings, I'm just pointing out the fallacies in the argument presented.
