I'm so glad Les Miles is no longer the LSU coach. He was a miserable liar and produced boring arse football.

Good luck to him going to coach in another state where there will be more than 1 program in state to recruit against, unlike LSU where there was zero competition.

Good riddance Les Miles.

Still not going to fix his in-game changes and timeout debacles.

Interesting new takes on the toss dive and the short side option coming at you.

frick. LSU does not need an energized Les at a school like texas or Tennessee.

This.

We need him at a team we play every year. The automatic wins are always welcome.

My good friend once said, "He's a retard but he's our retard. Gotta love him." Just thankful some other fans somewhere else will be saying the same thing one day. Just beat Bama coach O.

Convenient. He can run down and get him some Voodoo BBQ when he gets hungry.

I was told, off the record, that after Miles said that he immediately followed it with this:

He said he is "open" to it. No commitment that we would do it. Typical Miles. A whole bunch of talk. How many times did we hear this. And what is up with a office condo?

I would crawl over broken glass for Texas to hire les miles.

I wish him well at his next job, but no sane and rational LSU fan should wish he was in a neighboring state recruiting against us...

Imagine the Rant meltdown when a La. blue-chipper left his home state to play for Miles at Texas!

Sad, if he truly was open to an 'evolving OFF' he would still have a job at LSU. Bunch of lip service. Unfortunately his dismissal was long overdue. Lack of adequate OFF game plans, lack of in game adjustments, clock mismanagement, etc. HS errors at a top 5-10 program. Just can't happen.

Onward and upward with CEO and our Tigers!!!

I thought when Miles finally got fired, I would miss him even though I knew the change was necessary. I did a little bit the day after when I heard what he told the players.

The more I read articles like this, the further I go into not liking the man at all. I'm actually losing respect for him at this point.

Thank God we pulled the trigger, this delusional clown thinks he has another 10-12 years in the tank.

As I've posted after such declarations and at other appropriate times, show me the boy at 7 y/o, and I'll show you the man.

miles isn't going to beat us for top la talent. he may be able to use his connections to get some sleepers but i have zero concern of him beating us for guys we would want.

Les just needs to hire an OC

Who were the various highly compensated gents on his staff holding play sheets then? He was traumatized by 2008 (root cause his hiring of his buddies as DC's), and interjected himself at that point by channeling his inner Bo and the 3 yards and a clue of dust offense. I don't think he worried about QB recruiting and development, he had no intention of turning them loose anyway. Mett was an anomaly, he showed up here having passing skills pretty well developed, and Les had to let him pass because the D was weak in 2014.

Purdue would be a good place for him to bring an offense that fits that conference's historical MO, and let's him follow the DiNardo path right into the broadcast booth in a few years once they've figured out that he's an average coach, and can't recruit the talent that he did at LSU.
