Man, that is Bennie Logan. Lamin Barrow is 57, he is a LB.

minter has been really good all season thus far. tennessee was the most i've seen tahj on defense probably ever and he did well.

If there was a case left on this team about simply being a senior means earning playing time it's been with Francois and Hatcher. Please put them on the bench.

Yep. Minter and Jones offer only marginal improvement, but they are still better.

I would like to see a little more of Barrow too.

Jones has filled out nicely. He was already tall and athletic, but he's put on lots of muscle as expected, and he looks the part. He is willing to stick his nose in there and make a hit too. If you have ability and desire, Chavis will make you into a good LB.

I remember Barrow played with a mean streak and would really attack whoever had the ball. He did have a stretch of facemask penalties, but I was pretty impressed with him last year as a young player. I'd like to see him play more along with Minter.

And I have high hopes for those two and Muncie, I think they could be the foundation for a very strong LBer unit in the future.

I think Jones has shown some promise but he's still too thin to be playing LB against the likes of Alabama. We need guys like Barrow, Minter and Baker in there against power running games or else we will get steamrolled. You saw a bit of that with our smaller front against UT.

I honestly hope we see a lot of Barrow in the game vs Auburn, or I hope minter and jones play well to ease my mind. Minter will be good, experience will come quickly, and Jones has made plays but he is thin to be playing big backs like Dyer and Richardson. I hope Barrow is played vs Bama and honestly someone like Loston needs to play as an extra safety and play near the line of scrimmage vs bama and maybe vs Auburn. Our DB's will have to make up for the lack of size in the middle of our defense.

PS. wheres Welter and Mencie?

Barrow backs up Baker, Minter and Hatcher rotate, and Jones was Francois backup. Its unlikely there just gonna move Barrow to the sam spot (Jones/Francois) for Bama but i wish they would. I honestly thought Jones was playing for Francois because Francois got hurt in the Florida game at the end of the half but I could be wrong. Jones against Bama is scary and I hope Hatcher stops rotating with Minter when the Bama game comes because he brings nothing. Let him play occasionally in a passing down but he should not be playing in a base set.

Our linebackers aren't very good. They are average SEC linebackers outside of Baker. As long as our defensive line is as dominant as it is we don't need great linebackers.

Is T. Jones really only 205LBs?

Jones main reason for not playing is his size. He is way too small. I don't even think he is 215. If ever gains weight, he'd probably get the starting nod but it seems he might get it by default if they don't move Barrow over.

Might not be too bad for a team like AU who is more finesse running. A power team like Bama though, you don't want Jones over there...

I wish there were more of a power team so we could see more before Bama and evaluate it.

I bet that is a stretch, he must have weighed in wearing his helmet and holding a beagle.

A bunch of fricking coaches on this board studying film apparently. Everyone is dogging Hatcher like he's the only guy to make a mistake on defense.

One person will point out 2 or 3 bad plays, the rant catches on, now Hatcher is teh complete suck. I guarantee none of you fricks could name more than 3 bad plays at the top of your head Hatcher made.
