Well, Les brought this on knowing full well the feeling in the fans about JJ. I have little sympathy for Les in this situation, but I do have sympathy for the players.

No one would have booed Jefferson if he had been brought in at some point in the game to start a series and continued to play in the game, but to pull the QB at that point in the game, especially one that has led your team to 4-0 and a #1 ranking was a bitch move. Don't give me that crap that JJ was needed for the team to score at the moment, the team was damn successful up to that point. Just my opinion and not worth a shite to anyone but me but I really respected Miles to this point but he lost me on this one.

Then our fans need to learn to STFU until after a play is over. Because, you never know... maybe that guy is going to score a touchdown for the school that YOU are supporting.

TE was the problem, you simpleton.

we've had problems with substitutions while changing QB's all the way back to RP. It seems to happen on plays we sub the QB in, even if it isn't
he quarterback's fault.

Coach Les Miles basically booed the LSU fans who booed QB Jordan Jefferson when he played for the first time because of a suspension that followed an arrest on Aug. 26. "I didn't anticipate that," Miles said. "I can't imagine that. That doesn't work for me. A guy comes out giving his all and be treated poorly. I don't like it." Tigers

Coach Miles, if you read this I want you to know that I really support and respect you. However, pulling a guy who has led you to a #1 ranking, on the first drive of the game, for a guy who brought so much distraction to this team and has not practiced but 1 day in the last 5 weeks was, well, a huge slap in the face to JL and all of us who have dealt with this crap. Sure, play Jefferson late in the game if you have to to get some reps in, but in the first series, what kind of decision was that? The message you sent to JL, and all of us, was very poorly thought through.
P.S. where were Josh Johns' reps in this blowout after his 1 day of practice?

Really?

If he is truly this retarded, he has zero business coaching this team

That said, he knew exactly what would happen. JJ is his boy, and he is using hin no matter what

It's inexcusable to boo but Les Miles himself could probably have headed it off by not playing JJ in the first game back. He was suspended for being involved in a fight that led to criminal charges. You're going to have people who think he still shouldn't be playing because he still has pending charges. Those are probably the ones who booed. If he sat the first game, it might have helped with the transition back to the field. Again, there's still no excuse for booing but I think Miles could have anticipated some backlash and played this a little better.

Coach, I would have to say this and I dont necessarily believe in booing but I can guarantee you this if the fiasco that happened 2 years ago at Oxford would have happened in Tiger Stadium, rather I like it or not , agree with it or not, I guarantee you that the boos would have been raining down.

Miles should be unhappy with himself for setting Jefferson up to be booed. Only a complete retard wouldn't have seen that coming. I bet if Miles had waited until the 3rd, 4th quarter Jefferson probably would have been cheered.

Are you comparing JJ to Tebow as a Freshman? Are you claiming that there was a history of Leak getting pulled for a player performing worse?

The booing was stupid, but fans weren't just pissed because of JJ's criminal issues. They were pissed because it looked identical to situations last season where Lee led drives only to have JJ subbed in at the goal line to take the glory.
