Miles needs to do make some coaching changes in the off season

[1] He needs to find Bradley Dale Peveto another job. Our special teams is doing poorly and he needs to go.
[2] He needs to move Steele to coach special teams and linebackers and give him the title of "Head Coach on Defense and Special Teams" and "Assistant Head Coach"
[3] He needs to hire a real DC. I think the way Texas is playing right now, Charlie Strong will be available at the end of the season. I think Miles should hire him.
We have Coach O, Frank Wilson, Kevin Steele. They are all great recruiters. We do not need a 4th one in Peveto. We need someone with a brain who can co-ordinate the defense.
Defense on this team is the main concern
If our second team defense could not stop Eastern Michigan we have a big problem.
What LSU needs is a top class DC. A Charlie Strong, Will Muschamp (he will get it turned around at Auburn), Brian Van Groder.
By the way that was exactly what Saban did with Steele after his first year at Alabama. Miles should learn from the master, even when he can not not beat him.
Considering the offense Miles likes to play he needs good defense. Else it will be carnage

Not saying there aren't some concerns, but the defense is ranked 16th in the country in total defense ypg, EMU had 255 total yards. Two big plays yesterday were on missed assignments that should be easily corrected.

Forgot what poster it was, but nevertheless, someone here on TD stated something to the effect that an LSU fan's perfect season is where LSU wins a national title and the whole coaching staff is fired the day after the win

BS. Year after year after year, our main concern is the same and that is getting the ball to our WRs downfield and/or in the short intermediate. Can you honestly deny that? Save the ODB/Jarvis season, Les Miles makes pass scheming look incredibly difficult.

This X 1000. If special teams doesn't improve soon, BDP needs to go at season's end. I know he's Les' big buddy, but Miles can't let their friendship get in the way.

If Peveto's special teams are not performing to your satisfaction, something is either defective in the quality of the athletes he is given to coach or in your perception.
