It's not just the pass/run percentage. It's when they are called and the creativity of the play selection. Our play calling is very predictable. Even people who don't know football know when we're going to run. We telegraph everything by formation and personnel grouping.

We also do not use the whole field in the passing game. Throwing inside the hashes is not allowed since JL's pick 6 year. Les needs to get over that. When narrow the field to the point they can cover with just 2-3 DBs and commit 8-9 to the run.

With the running backs and receivers we continue to have, why don't we recruit more pocket passers? A guy that can manage the game and throw the ball accurately. Yes I'm sure our coaching hasn't developed our "dual threat QB's" but man just seems like a game manager and an accurate passer is all we need with the amount of talent we have.
Agree 100%. Miles seems to be obsessed with running qb's to the point he would play one with no throwing ability over a Dan Marino.

U guys realized that both QBs last night were with their coaches respectfully less than half as long as Brandon Harris has been at LSU. Jimbo takes a true freshman and fixes him at halftime, and freeze has a guy for 2 years.

No, no. It doesn't work that way. Kelly was developed at Clemson, then at EMCC. QBs get developed where they were first. The rant told me so.

Well Freeze's uncle is Jim Kelly. Id be willing to bet that Chad Kelly learned everything he knows from his uncle.

Why was Harris recruited to LSU ? How about Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee ?

Is there a pattern of ineptness here ?

You can design offenses that don't require Tom Brady-like pre-snap adjustments.

Holy shite REVELATION.

My point was in Miles offense, the qb has to be deadly accurate into small windows to succeed.

Miles is not going to make wholesale changes to his offense, so its not a good fit for Harris.

Sure lots of coaches get by with inaccurate qb's, unfortunatly since Miles and Cameron arent changing, they are not the types of coaches that can. Ive given up on Miles ever changing his offense philosophy.

I'll agree with you on this....some of the windows Mett threw into were unbelievable. However, a college football offensive system should not require accuracy of that measure in order to be efficient.
