1) F King Alexander will not let us go after a new coach. There is ZERO chance he is fired this year

2) Miles knows and everyone else knows that he is fired next year if he doesn't win 10+ games.

3) You are going to fire Miles if he wins 10+ games?? NO

So 1 + 2 + 3 what can you do? NOTHING

Miles = untouchable right now.

He is literally the only person who doesn't see that need. Not only that, he was being a cocky a-hole after a game in which we got 86 yards passing. He won. He knew it, and he let Alleva hear about it.

Why would he not think "if I don't fix this I'm definitely out next year"?

We already wanted him gone. Any emotional feelings he had for anyone outside the fans and team is gone.

He's done it his way and I believe he will continue to do so. If I were him and they wanted me out, but couldn't do it, I'd certainly have a bigger ego about it. It also wouldn't bother me that I was fired the next season doing it my way as I'm counting my $$$ on the way out the door.

Thanks to all the bleed hearts from Saturday crying their eyes out and expressing their love for Miles is the reason. Miles' Ego is bigger than anyone else at LSU now. The fans fault. That is why I am a LSU fan not a Miles fan.

Miles's ego has nothing to do with how untouchable he is. What do you not get?

That's not exactly what he said, but don'tr let that get in the way of you bashing.

How on earth is it bashing a guy when I am explaining how he just masterfully won a political battle and drug his nuts over his bosses face? If anything, I come to praise Miles, not bury him. He was emboldened, and he should be!

It doesn't need a serious overhaul.

It needs improvement in the passing game and more rhythm and creativity, but that isn't a serious overhaul

As long as Alleva is at LSU, Miles is safe.

Alleva won't get a second chance to fire Miles and hire a new coach after the incompetence we just witnessed.

So, at least for now, Miles is untouchable.

I don't get this thought.

IMO, I'm sure he thought that if the LSU gig was up, Miami and/ or possibly Georgia was his next move.

text book lnchbox right there.

dont even respond to that next response because before you know it, there will be 4 pages of him arguing about it, which ironically will have nothing to do with the OP

Alleva isn't going anywhere (fired), yall can just stop wishing for that. Isn't going to happen.

It sure appeared that there was a realization by Miles that his head is still on the chopping block by the words and mannerism he showed at the after game interview.

It sounded like he was about to say that Cam was going to be fired but then realized that moment wasn't the right time to announce it.

Clearly I do. Since Miles is not the person in control of how untouchable he is, how does his ego have any effect?
