Dont worry ..when we beat arkansas and win the bowl...and we have a heck of a season next year we will be hearing a lot of "I am very glad Les is still here"

nope he keeps putting 8 win teams out and he wont be here. sorry but 8 wins doesn't cut it with those of us who love LSU. the ones that are happy with back to back 8 win years hate LSU

Don't under estimate the power of the fans and the alumni. He may not be gone this year but 3 or more losses next year and he should know to start packing!

I hope you are right. I really do, b/c I don't think he should be allowed to stay if things don't improve a lot next year.
I just fear that coming up with a $16MM buyout for Miles and who knows how much for the rest of the staff, is just too much for me to be confident.
I think LSU is like the man with 6 kids who just found out his wife cheated on him. He is broke if he leaves and is the laughing stock if he stays.

I think I want to say this once more and then I'm done with this board for a few months. Miles...is...not...going..anywhere. The administration and TAF hotshots are actually sane people, not reactionary chicken littles like the RANT. The only way Miles leaves before the North Carolina game next year is of his own accord.
P.S. I used to think the RANT was alone in their stupidity but I looked at the USC and OU boards after their big losses and guess what, rantards are everywhere.
