Hope CLM does not use the Colo talk to get a new contract or Heaven forbid a raise. Hope he realizes how beautiful it is in Col.

What leverage? If he went to the Board or Alleva with any threat of leaving, I'd be willing to bet he'd gt a resounding "Dare you."

I hope he wins another National Championship and uses that as leverage for a raise.

He is more than welcome to try to use the CU situation to get more money, but I'd be more pissed at school officials for giving it to him.

LSU has championship caliber talent waiting to be unleashed because Les and his staff have done a wonderful job of recruiting, but the way he's using that talent isn't worth the $3.5 million he's making now - not to mention all the embarrassment he's caused us with Ole Miss and Tennessee in the last 12 months.

Only problem is Bama, AU, and UF also have championship talent as well. Les is 1-1 vs schools that have equal talent to LSU. I know overall, AU doesn't have as much talent as LSU, but in the most impt position on the field, they have twice the talent LSU has, that's why I included AU in the statement.

He doesn't have a leg to stand on for a raise. His record is 24-10 since after the 2007 season. He better not let the door hit him on the way out!

Kind of makes you hope that the present AD would be a little bit like Bob Broadhead. I heard Broadhead tell a story (on his radio program in BR back in the early 1990s) how Dale Brown was trying unsuccessfully to get a raise from him at one point. Apparently Dale had been in communication with Oral Roberts University about the coaching job up there, and when he came into Broadhead's office it seems he had an offer that had been sent to him from ORU in his coat pocket. After ranting for several minutes about all he had done at LSU, Brown dramatically reached into his pocket to produce the document and try to back Broadhead into a corner. Broadhead was aware that Dale had been in contact with ORU, and when Daddy D reached into his pocket, Broadhead bluntly told him "If you take it out, go ahead and sign it". At that point Brown decided not to pursue the matter any longer and left Broadhead's office.

Could someone gather up all of the posi-Tigers tired Miles arguments so that I can use them to sell Miles on CU message boards?

Remember reading the CU couldn't offer Miles the salary he gets here. Plus Colorado isn't exactly on LSU's level prestige wise. I don't think anyone is dumb enough to use the Colorado job as leverage for a raise at LSU

You have a better chance of getting laid by the entire group of SI Swimsuit Issue models than Miles winning a NC.

If I was in charge and miles asked for a raise I would buy him out that second and tell him to frick off... Not that I want him gone but that would just prove he is fricking insane
