I don't like the blowouts either.

But by the Ole Miss game LSU was a run-first team without its starting fullback and blocking tight end. Plus, we had two true freshmen and a redshirt freshman playing a lot of snaps on the o-line.
So injuries played a part.

Actually our fans are. 11 seasons have gone by and you guys still want him to be Spurrier, which he's the complete opposite. He is never candid with the media.

I wonder if anybody took Hallman up on his offer to meet him at his office and fight??? The Curley days were pure comedy. You gotta look back and laugh, although at the time I would have put more money in the pot for someone to shoot his arse j

Oh and it was sarcasm. I know you didn't like Curley

What exactly do you think he should have said?

"I don't like the way we played at the back end of the season. It's evident we're not where we want to be and we still have a lot of things to fix."

No injury excuses, no "but they're good teams" excuse.

I don't think that's unreasonable.

Miles pointed out that the losses the team sustained were against some of the best teams in the league and that if they had not had a series of injuries the outcome might have been very different
He's not wrong. If we have a healthy JD Moore and Dillon Gordon for Bama, the running game would've actually existed. Who knows where that game and the rest of the season could've gone from there. Moore and Gordon were bigger losses than this board realizes.

But...but...Les is MEDIOCRE...

A truely GREAT coach would have done gone on the field and blocked for BUGA and Harris himself...

Perhaps. It's concerning that the entire O is derailed because of it, though. It points to Miles' lack of a " plan B."

And I have a hard time believing Ark and Ole Miss could be blamed on injuries.

How about not getting blown out three games in a row?

Is that too much to ask for also?

Yes, yes it is too much.

You have a quality coach that has a chest and a want to run the football with his damn strong football team. You have some great uniforms and get to watch your team on TV.

Given that there will always be a few wins added in each year that should be enough to keep any fans happy.

Be thankful for what you have and stop trying to be Bama. You are not Bama.

No Gordon was huge. No Moore was big. We also don't know and will never know who was not 100%. We had freshmen playing on the oline against SEC defenders. Not good. A guy like Beckwith or a key dlineman could have been banged up pretty good but we had to go with them anyway. Only the team really knows. This year will be better.

Les is not wrong at all. Les indirectly admitted that Bama, Ole Miss and Arky are better and have been better football teams than LSU for a couple of years now. Of course he's right about that because it's the absolute truth.

Since when is Arkansas one of the best teams in the league? Risible nonsense.

Cornholio, I think that what we fools would like is to just be competitive in the SEC west which is something we have not been doing in the last three years. If finishing 3rd, 4th or 5th in the west is what rocks your world then I have to ask...who is really the fool?

Good advice for you in the anti-Miles crowd. How often has the same tired old stuff been posted here? Day after day after day.

There is no evidence that the ani Miles lynch mob is in any mood to pump the brakes.

Also impossible to sniff winning the west going forward as long as Less is in charge.
