Why do I find this board funny?

Come on man. Just read it.

You have people that can't write correct English complaining about Miles' use of English for example. You don't find that funny?

Then if you add in trying to understand what some of the people in Louisiana are actually saying, given the weird accents around there, it is a comedy act. But they criticize the coach because he doesn't speak as they do.

Then of course the fact that every coach is an idiot and a fool and my personal favorite----buffoon. All of them?

Step back and read this site from the view of an educated person not from the south and you will see what I mean.

This board is the Seinfeld of sports boards.

His winning percentage here is better than Nick Saban's during his tenure. But he is a clown who has no clue. Got it.

I didn't realize champions were crowned based on their 10 year winning percentage.

If you don't know then you aren't very smart. Miles doesn't aire dirty laundry...been his practice all along...whether player or coaching changes.

So not winning the west but coming in close is now a fantastic season? Lolololo and that year was also the Tennessee end game fiasco.

So essentially if he can't win another nc...he is a clown with no clue. Meanwhile no one in the sec is doing better overall than him other than bama.

I think it's very unrealistic to expect that Les Miles will change his offensive philosophy. Why? Because what he has done has worked very well for HIMSELF. He has managed to coach eleven years at a high profile school in a high turnover profession by winning at just a high enough rate to keep a just big enough core of apologist fans. Why on earth would he change anything when it's made for himself a king's fortune?

And changing your philosophy just isn't easy. It's who you are, how you view the game.

He doesn't want to change. For better or worse, it's his team. I don't have the expectations I once had, and that's okay.

Well, the good thing about those quotes is there is a very good chance he won't be around after next season if he continues to play the injury card.

Coaching aside, as a man, you should want to improve your career and your career standing which is puzzling why he settles for the status quo.

No matter how bad you fools on this board want to, it is impossible to win the national championship every year

How about just making the playoffs every year - like Bama?

Yes dumbass...because everyone else on here is claiming fantastic seasons. Idiot. I'm guessing you are between 20-22 age......makes sense.

You act like LSU is a bottom feeder during the last few years....when the fact is even in down times they are likely to finish in the top 15 for the fifth time in the last six years.

You are the type poster needing a perma band. But you will just surface under a new name...until that one is banned as well.

It's not necessarily about winning a national championship. Just at least put us in the got damn SEC Championship, don't even have to win just put us there. If you can't see this football program is on the decline you need to crawl back into the fricking cave you have been living in. His time has come to an end. Simple as that. You can feel this way and still acknowledge his success.

Or maybe bama happens to be in the got damb way....in the West. You dumbasses can't understand and don't accept that. We had a great team in 2011...just so happens they had their best team as well. Life happens.

This is exactly what I have been saying for 10 years. You can't win on LA talent alone, the state is loaded with athletes, that's about it. No one is going to just come in here and win titles because LSU is the only big time program here. He's done very well considering.

We've lost LBs like Kenny Young and Tim Williams as recently as the past 2 years.

Nobody said they will win championships right away, or on Louisiana talent alone, but the fact is that it's a good start being the only big school in Louisiana with athletes on the level of Florida just smaller in number.

To let depth get that bad on the lines and at LB, when you are the HC (former OL yourself) and have been here for a decade along with your DC/LB coach and DL coach here for 6 years, it makes zero sense. Grimes has been trying to load the OL up the past couple of years because we were depleted there as well in talent and bodies.

It makes no sense to have these rookie problems when you had a coaching staff that was here 5 or more years at those positions.

We are reactive at the most important positions, when we should be proactive.

Exactly. The light has come on for you. FIgure out a fricking game plan against that team maybe. Stop running into the teeth of the best defense in the country year after year. Is our coach too stupid to understand that the best coach in America will stop you from doing the same damn thing every year when you play him? If he is then he needs to go for that reason. Saban is beatable and you and a lot of other people cannot fathom that.

Now THAT's why I come in here.

Some guy still butt hurt over something that happened years ago.

You just gotta a love that single mindedness.
