Les had memory relapse from his days at Michigan. Three yards and a cloud of dust, Woody Hayes on the opposing sideline, Bo Schembeckler giving the repeated order to "run the damn thing up the middle, we can outman them even if they know it's coming." At Michigan, you could pretty much beat almost everybody pretty much all the time, but if you consistently lost to Ohio State, you were sent packing. There's a Michigan memory worth contemplating.
