LSU decided at the beginning of the season to try to load me for the first three games, and then reassess. I went to the first game, but not the other two. We feel it's best to leave me in my habitat and everyone can see me.

Time for Mike VI to retire. And do a better job of selecting Mike VII.

Remember when that loon thought "reassess" meant they were going to inhumanely force him into the cage for the back half of the season? They saw this coming and still gave it a go knowing it probably wouldn't work out. I hope they try again next fall.

I don't know if it's a Tiger issue, or a handler issue...I strongly suspect that in today's "PC" world, it's the later.

You know, the whole, we're going to let Mike decide if he wants to go to the game, the "it's up to him" mentality.

This is beyond RIDICULOUS...It's 7 days a year...MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Go read the thread with quotes about playing in Tiger Stadium...multiple ones reference the impact that having a live Tiger on the field makes!

It's too strong of a tradition to let die, SOMEONE needs to figure it out, and FIX IT!

I've never wanted them to inhumanely get him in the cage.

Just try all humane means. Which they won't even do. Then they'll pull shite like this season and just give up with several important home games left.

Poor mike is feeling the effects of overly sensitive people.

People don't want him in the stadium; yet if he were released into the wild he would get slaughtered.

What do people want out of the big cat?

Well yeah, it's not like mike can tell the handlers no, lol.

Did we get new handlers?

I agree, I imagine there are lots of appropriate strategies. I don't know anything about handling a tiger, I can't be overly cynical about it. But the fans who want to see him at the game should get another letter about what they tried and their future plans.

It's time to just shut down the tradition of bringing him to the game. The handlers are too incompetent or pussified to get him in the cage, so they should just admit defeat.
