Mike needs to be on hand Sat. about 7:00.pm. The question is will he? I remember, vaguely, past reports of "fear of large crowds" as well as "can't get him into the trailer" concerns in regard to Mike appearing at games. Will he be there to symbolicly represent the ferocity of this Tiger Team? Will he be there to let out that 'ROAR!!!!' at an opportune time or even on que? Tim Tebow playing in this game is one thing, but Mike The Tiger in attendance on Sat. night is crucial.

Mike the Tiger being available for the game should be up to his trainers and keepers, and Mike himself. Whether our chances of winner or better with him, the health of Mike is more important.

Have you ever tried to "make" an 800lb tiger do something it doesn't want to do? That's a good way to get killed moron. I know y'all all think it's just like loading a horse into a trailer but try to remember that it's a fricking tiger.

If it rains he won't be there whether they can get him in the cage or not. The never put the truck & trailer on a sloppy field.

They tried that last year and it didn't work. Cats are not like dogs. They won't just eat whatever the frick you throw at them.

Mike ought to work for the City of N.O.

Free room, board and transportation. Only required to get off of his feline arse 8 days a year and still can't make to work on time - if at all!

While I agree, part of his "job description" is to attend the games. It's not like they keep him in the stadium for more than a few minutes. If he truly is that unnerved by crowds, then perhaps LSU should attempt to find a replacement. I thought that someone on here said that the school might be looking into that.

Since when does having a live tiger at the home games determines the outcome of the game? Having Mike there will not help the outcome of the game.
