We will not throw enough for him to win or probably even get real mention. Have to throw a lot or be dual threat these days. It's all numbers.

I saw that. So was Barrett "restoring order" Jones.

Don't they do this every year, for every starting QB on a team expected to contend for the National Title. I personally think the Heisman is a stupid, pointless award. It doesn't go to the best or most valuable player. It goes to the most popular QB or RB

Man I just have this feeling that Mett is going to pull a Cam. We will go undefeated and Mett will win the Heisman. Only difference is he will come back to play his last year.

Mett will have big numbers this year. We will be a balanced offence, but 4 or 5 of the 24-30 passes he attempts, could be long tds. Its not that we will throw the ball more, we will just have more big plays, through the air and on the ground. Les said it best....PICK YOUR POISON...Mett sure could be a heisman candidate, and if not this year he WILL be the front runner next year, yes he will be back. He aint spent this much of his life to just play one year.

If Batkley and USC start losing a couple games, and he leads a convincing win over Bama, I definitely think its possible. You also have to consider how well the RBs at Oregon, Lacy, and Denard Robinson do.

It's probably a long shot but I just found it refreshing to see an LSU offensive player on that list

Have you already forgotten all the Heisman buzz for Jordan Jefferson before the bar fight? It was all over TD

I just want a good, solid year from our QB. That and to not have the offensive coaching make us look inept. We get that and it will be a year to remember.

Did Barrett's order have anything to do with actually winning their conference?

A lineman on this list is laughable.

If we win the MNC and he wins the Heisman, he'll gone.

well, since we have still not seen him throw a pass in an SEC game, I'd say that at this point he is way, way, below the radar....
