Well, I responded before you edited. Was confused on what your problem was. As you've seen, I don't just sit back and take shite from other posters.

LSU's superstar QB who averaged 142 passing yards per game as a starter in 2011.

I'm not ragging on JLee, but the dude was scared to take a lick in the pocket. Saw Mett deliver the ball several times with a defender in his face about to smoke him. Very good to see this from our QB.

thinking about it a little and maybe Mett is a little bit scared to take a hit. He could have picked up two easy first downs against Auburn if he would have just put his head down and gone for it.

You can't leave out the FACT that we were undefeated when he started. He did start at Bama. Never forget!!

with the revisionist history that goes on relating to him he will probably be a superstar legend QB at LSU in 20 years

He's AN upgrade. Getting Tyler Wilson or Colin Klein would be a huge upgrade.

I'm sure everyone on the team who was screaming for him to get down agrees with you.

I have seen JLee make touchdown passes with defenders in his face. Jlee and Mett are different, but this is just a horrible comparision.
And I've seen him throw several picks with defenders in his face. Are you JLee's dad?

I'm just comparing their pocket presence, Mett doesn't have "happy feet" under pressure.

Why all the flak, I'm complementing our QB. What the frick is wrong with you people, y'all some hostile mother frickers.

You are right. He was a phenomenal leader in the way he led us to victories with those great handoffs.

Mett, JJ, and JL are all about the same and will have same stats while at LSU. It hurts me to say that but its true.

Your football IQ is 2. Mett's game against AU would rank as one of JJ's best. Mett was awesome Saturday night with the exception of that sack fumble. The other one could just as easily been due to the different center.

This is college, not the NFL. The passing game will continue to improve. By the end of the year it will be great.

You are ragging on Lee and how do you know he was scared? Could you read his mind? Are you a psychic?

Proof

Watch the video. The first 3 throws he knows he's about to get hit and he still throws a solid catchable pass to Clement, Ware, and Boone.

If I had time I could pull up videos from almost every game last year where Lee got hit and still threw a good ball.

Most of y'all are still stuck on his RS freshman year. Almost every single qb gets nervous before taking a hit. Lee probably wasn't as scared as most of y'all think

Can you find the clip in 2010 when he ran around in circles and threw the ball up for grabs against bama? I think its only fair to show both extremes.
