To the poster who said Manieri won with Smoke's recruits and got lucky... you are wrong! LSU won it all in 2009. Manieri' first season was in 2007. Most of the players on that team were recruited by Manieri. Regardless, one rarely gets lucky and wins a championship.

Manieri isn't Skip, but no one is. He has done good during his time here. He did a solid job by getting the Tigers to the Super Regional having to replace his entire starting line up. It as not as easy to get to the CWS as many self appointed experts on this board think
