Haters hate. It's what they do.

It's like when you host a crawfish boil, everyone is going to tell you you're doing it wrong.

eta: downvotes, lulz

or the umpire
Last year that umpire, Troy Fullwood, was one of the worst SEC umpires to call games behind the plate, and that's really saying something. He is terrible.

He has no idea what his strike zone is.

Any board should welcome good takes from all kinds of posters. Thoughtful opinions whether they agree with mine as fun to read and discuss.

This. There will always be some chicken little hot takes, but the baseball posters around here generally have some knowledge about the sport. We're all watching the same games and have the same numbers available to us to form our different opinions.

I wasn't good enough to play beyond 8th grade Fall Ball, but that doesn't make my thoughts less valid than someone who has had season tickets for decades. It doesn't matter. We've all had different experiences watching or playing baseball at all levels. That's part of what makes it fun.

The majority of our fans are horrible, so I don't know what you were expecting

I agree with you though

Some are travel ball coaches that live vicariously through their players. Those same "coaches" think they know more than college coaches. The others are just miserable fricks because we don't score 10 runs and shutout every team we play.
Just take a look at the softball threads. It's littered with angry, miserable "coaches". Travel ball coaching does not equate to knowing anything about the college game. Only in their minds can they win the CWS and WCWS with "their coaching style".

Dad, you're welcome to post and discuss baseball all you want. You'll get some decent responses from people who want to participate in a baseball discussion, but you'll also get the douchebag's that just are here to troll and have fun. Just ignore the ones you don't like and it'll make your life a lot easier...

If I've learned one thing in 10 years of being around these boards, it's that no one cares about how to much experience you have or how much knowledge you think you have.

The so called baseball experts on this sight either love LSU baseball or live miserable negative lives because Skip spoiled them. They are like children, if you keep that in mind you can only shake your head and hope they grow up sometime.

I don't think Lange has regressed. Since his freshman year his curveball has basically been in one spot and it's in the dirt. Teams have this in their scouting report and are sitting dead red fastball and won't even swing at a curve. It's hard to be successful when teams know you have one pitch they you can put over for a strike

Right now LSU baseball is unbearable to watch.

I doubt that anybody is forcing you to watch LSU baseball.

CPM got lucky early in his tenure with Smoke's recruits and is a classic choke artist.

According to some of you people, every coach in the history of LSU athletics was lucky in their first couple of years and only won because of the previous coaches recruits. If the rant had been around 30 years ago, some of you people would be claiming that Skip only won because of the recruits that Jack Lamabe brought in. And of course we all know how Miles success was only possible because of Saban. Hell, some of you will probably still give Saban all the credit for whatever success Orgeron has.

We need to get back to power baseball.

Those days are gone.

CPM is not the guy.

There isn't a coach in the world, no matter the sport, that will please some of you folks.

Since you're so unhappy with LSU baseball, perhaps you should spend more time in your local Starbucks photographing customers that bug you. How dare that woman have a service dog with her, right?
