I go to all the home games and I'm driving my arse to Houston for the young men that put the uniform on. It's not about Miles or anyone else, in my opinion. I'll cheer my alma mater on no matter who the coach is. Do I want him gone? Yes. But it's not happening now and it's time to move forward.

Well it was people complaining at various levels, including those with large checkbooks, that almost brought about change this year. Don't kid yourself, public perception has a huge impact, like the dumbasses that showed up last week with "we want Les" signs.

No. The negativity stops when a change is made.

Agreed, there is one source of systemic mediocrity in this program. Some are tired of the excuses and complacency, and are annoyed with how the narrative was warped and manipulated in the past two weeks by certain individuals. They are counting down the days until Miles is let go so they can see this program fully achieve its potential.

You've been quite snarky and antagonistic throughout this entire saga. I hoped you'd consider a different approach for once.

Yeah, we're NC State now because we lost 3 games.

Thanks to that idiot F.King Alexander, Les will not be on a short leash or feel like his job is in jeopardy. He has all the leverage and it will be back to business as usual. I'd love to find something positive in all this - but I've got nothing. A couple of weeks ago, when we thought there would be a coaching change there was a feeling of excitement and anticipation for the new direction we would be taking. Now - we have more of the same to look forward to, and as far as I'm concerned, I'll expect the worst out of these Les Miles coached teams.

I couldn't have said it better myself. LES holds the leash on Alleva, F King, and all the other dimwits in the administration. Along with his crooked buddy Jindal, they are out to ruin LSU in both academics and athletics. I've never seen someone make so much money off of running a program into the dirt.

What program are you talking about? Surely it's not an 8-3 lsu football team.

Good post. I wanted him gone too but I'm not gonna sway the administration either way. Let's recruit in the trenches and see if we can keep a good class.

Yeah OK. When the media talks about LSU fan base being petulant children. They are talking about you top.

Anyone who uses the term "pumper" or "nega" is a certifiable idiot. Congratulations.

Don't worry topwater, this guy is on your side, lol.

Les and his staff are enjoying their 3 weeks off, laughing it up, drinking beers, and tallying up their bank accounts to see who stole the most from the LSU community. Their shitty bowl is just an excuse for them to go dick around in Houston for a bit (probably gambling with the money they bilked from LSU)

Another one of his golden posts.

There's extreme views on both sides. A lot of people who genuinely dislike Miles like it's personal. Then there are those who are going to unreasonable lengths to defend him. Like they care more about him than the program.

I'd like to think most of the fans are in the middle. Unhappy but willing to wait a year. Not like there's a choice.
