There are some really big names in that group. Mawae and Faneca are warriors that earned the right to be in the HOF by their play on the field and character outside of the game. Geaux Tigers.

At one point John Madden made a case for Mawae as the NFL POY. Sounded far fetched, but he pointed out just how dominant he was and he called all of the protection schemes (smart) for the OLINE.
Faneca was a beast on one of the best running teams in the NFL for a long long time. They'll both get in, but it will be by the old timers because of their position.

Faneca (9) Lynch (9) Mawae (8) and Atwater (8) made the Pro Bowl more than all of the other semi-finalists. It would be great to see them go in together.

I doubt they will be first ballot but IMO both will certainly get in eventually. I say this without purple/gold colored glasses.

How awesome would it be if both Tigers went in together.

He made a great case for Faneca to be the first OL to be named SB MVP, and he was right. He was a critical part of every positive offensive play they ran.

They gave it to Ward, who had one big catch and was otherwise average that night.

This isn't either's first time being a semi-finalist. Faneca was a finalist last year and Mawae is a 3 time semi-finalist. I know Kevin will be pissed if Faneca makes it in first.

Should be in

Roger Craig, Terrell Davis and Edgerrin James

Meh. Edgerrin James belongs in the Hall of Pretty Good, not the Hall of Fame.

Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt and Terrell Owens

All deserve to get in eventually

Alan Faneca; center Kevin Mawae
