look at the lsusports homepage.

It looks like they're just in the drill. Unless I missed it I didn't see anything with them running with the actual position group. It isn't unusual to see defensive players in that particular drill, but I do agree Jones could end up at FB.

You can't possibly believe this. No defensive player runs offensive drills to learn to defend better at any level of football. That's ludicrous.

No, it just means you aren't listening to Coach Miles and his reasoning for such things you are seeing

its prob because they both played offense in hs. guys are too talented to keep off the field, coaches will find a spot for them.

Yep. For a fanbase that always likes to talk about how the head coach misuses the toys on the offensive side of the ball, people are getting awfully upset at evidence that he may be learning from his past mistakes.

Our D is fissing to be staaaaaaaaaaaaacked

Has that staaaaaaaaaacked defense learned how to cover the pass because toward the end of last year, they sucked at it.

Why would it be in jest? Graham is a great NFL player but didn't accomplish much at the college level since he only played 1 year of football. I would rather that somebody compare Smith to a former college football All-American

Just for reference, these videos show multiple DBs and LBs taking part in the same drill the first two days of last Fall camp.

I'm sure the DBs and LBs do similar gauntlet drills, but Jones and Beckwith were pulled to the gauntlet drill when the RBs and FBs were doing it, not when other LBs were doing it.

They are definitely versatile enough to play other positions, I don't doubt that. In the other videos the defensive players are in the same group as Williams, Magee, Fobbs, Dural, and others. I just don't think the drill has any significance one way or the other yet, that's why I asked if there were reports of them actually running position drills like Brazil was.
