Last I had heard Marcus Lives in Dallas but probably has somewhere to stay in Carolina during the SEC network weeks. Also he is right on and is one of if not the best SEC network guys they have. He will call out the Tigers when needed and gives good football incite. He will give both the positive and negitive for LSU and all other SEC teams.

But Guice is more creative, hence his averaging 2 yards per carry more.

On substantially fewer carries. With only two career carries against one of the most consistent defenses of the past decade. And why was the line only able to open huge holes with Fournette running, but not Guice.

Add so many other players to that. Other than 2007 and 2012 we screwed a lot of offensive guys.

Guess it depends on your definition of "disservice". IMO, it was a poor choice of words by Spears; disservice is way to strong of a word.

A disservice would have been:
A) benching LF7 for the O's poor performance (even for a qtr)
B) not preparing him for the NFL
C) not giving him the tools needed to prepare himself
D) running him into the ground

a) never happened, poor overall offensive performances were never put on LF7's shoulders by anyone, coaching staff, fans, or admin.

b) he got better every year, was drafted 1st rd in a league that doesn't place RBs at the top of the priority list

c) he got physically better every year, especially bigger/stronger while at least maintaining speed and change of direction (he got faster and more nimble too IMO).

d) he was not run into the ground based on # of carries. Definitely had to have harder runs than normal running into D's waiting on him. However, some of his best runs came then; it only helped his draft stock from the POV as a disservice to LF7 on a personal level.

While LF7 derserves, obviously, a heap of credit for putting in the work nothing LSU, Miles, or Staff did inhibited that. They only enhanced it. Hence I think the idea of a "disservice" is wrong. Would he have won a heisman if the offense had been better as a whole? Likely. But that's not a disservice in my book. Missed opportunity- yes.

Duh. Same could be said for every WR and TE to play for Miles

THIS

A poll just came out for the top 25 players in the NFL under 25 and both Jarvis and Odell were on it with Odell being number 1. How in the hell do you have that type of talent on one offense and not even have a threat in the passing game??????

Maybe Spears saw a different game than we saw. We know he could've been utilized a bit better than he was but he still made things happen. Low key Fournette was pretty linear coming into LSU and somewhat left the same way but he was a top 5 NFL pick, broke records left and right. Bravo young man

It would have been good to have a 1,000 yard receiver just once wouldn't it?

Hello. Hey Marcus. Here is update for you. Miles was FIRED during the season last year and LF WAS A FIRST ROUND DRAFT CHOICE.

Nothing Spears said has any purpose except to pile on LSU. Wtf is his problem nowdays?

I think it's easier or maybe more emphasis is placed on being creative on offense when you have lesser talent.

It's time to review the career of the following:

Spears has issues with Miles, always has, always will. Why drag that up now? Miles is gone Leonard got paid. Time to move on.

Spears was one of those same guys who wanted Miles retained for 2016.

bullshite...every player knew what they were getting when they signed on the dotted line. Sure, Leonard could have did more, but he knew what he was coming into.

LF was a RB in a power offense, like it or not, everyone including him knew his role from the time he was recruited till the time he was a 1st round draft pick.

You want to talk disservice, talk about the TEs, WR, and QBs that had zero coaching.

The insistence on feeding LF the ball was a disservice to the team, especially when Miles was giving it to him when he was crippled with an ankle and a healthy Guice just sitting there. This is not the fault of LF, that is all on Miles and I will never understand.

He oughta try to be a Booger McFarland, because Booger is a legit analyst.

And a 1,000 rusher and STILL lost three games....shame..... including a game at Ole Miss where we were heavy favorites in and an Ole Miss defense that was missing multiple starters.....
