Maravich Center > Pete Maravich Assembly Center

Anyone notice LSU's use of "Maravich Center" lately, as opposed to "Pete Maravich Assembly Center?" I like it.
Thoughts? Yes. It's a slow day at work.

I've noticed the re-branding as well. I guess they want to get away from people calling it the PMAC?

I actually like Maravich Center. Either works for me though.

Lately? They rebranded it as Maravich Center when the renovation was completed in 2006.

My dad has been saying this ever since he noticed the use of Maravich Center. I agree that it looks better.

You sure? Because I'm pretty sure the court still has "Pete Maravich Assembly Center" plastered on the south end (out of bounds) of the court.
