I don’t think that’s necessarily toxic but it’s definitely cultural

Bingo. That took all of three responses for someone to nail it.

Oh booohoo cry me a river. Not a surprising take from a TJ nut hugger. You literally keep saying this everywhere and I can’t help but feel like it has something to do with him getting his arse chewed out

Typical response by someone who can't discuss the subject at hand, I said nothing about TJ in the post of mine you cited. You lack reading comprehension or you think it was perfectly fine for O to go on Fox News and implicitly endorse Trump. If you think that fine, you are fee to think it. I think it was a dumb azzz move. I thought it then, and I think it now and if I live to be 100 plus bleeping years, I will still think it was a dumb azz move

My point was trying to isolate when Coach O allegedly lost some of the locker room, if you believe Rohan's statements, and I don't think Rohan has any axe to grind with anyone, totally stand up guy who loves LSU. He is on record saying O lost the locker room over the summer.

You may not like it, or disagree with it, but it doesn't change what Rohan said and I think he likely knows more what is going on than you do.

Regardless of my politics, no LSU Coach should be endorsing "ANY" freaking President of the USA regardless of party or even it is a guy that I happened to vote for.

There's probably multiple answers. The come to LSU to fast track to the NFL is a thing that has to be managed carefully. The players should do what is right for them but they should understand their own best interests also demand hard work so they can succeed in the NFL and in life. Turning a blind eye to a person like Guice isn't a good thing for sustainable programs, it's more of a sign of a program spiraling out of control (like Meyer's Florida teams).

The complaints about Orgeron running the program like a good one boys club have merit. But both the fans (who wanted "one of us") and the institution (when Alleva went without a national search committee and then hired him in part just because he wanted the job) were consistent with a good ole boys club and laid the foundation for Oregon to hire coaches who were his friends.

The head coach also appears to be a significant part of the culture problem when his personal sex life becomes social media news. Him having a bedroom selfie with a hook up isn't the end of the world but it does further damage his reputation as a serious person who represents the university and improves the character of the men he coaches. Telling his players to be smart and stay out of trouble is a minimal expectation for a head coach but difficult to take seriously with his behavior.

the best coaches in history have had to deal with complacency after a championship year. In fact, the majority have issue the next year with that.
