Man, I agree with this. My grandmother knew more about baseball than anyone I've ever met. And she was a big LSU fan, too. I cannot imagine how much yelling she would have done if she had been alive to see that game last night.

I agree with this. LSU calls that play too much IMHO.

My grandpa played baseball for the Minden Redbirds and coached for a lonnng time so he knows what hes talking about, but he gets pissed so much. Anytime we walk the first batter he starts screaming at the TV screen. EVERYTIME mitchell comes to the plate he screams "GET HIS OUT OF THERE, SON OF A BITCH COULDNT HIT A LEFT HANDER IF HE WANTED TO!" Its funny as hell when you watch games with him on some occasions, but when it gets intense his bickering is very irritating.

Sounds like my old man. Since he is old and set in his way, I try to give him some leeway. It is hard, especially because the bitching as well as my aggravation increase with the relative importance of the game.

I know the feeling, my family doesn't understand the fundamental phrase "that's baseball." If a bloop single scores a go ahead run in the 5th for the other team, our pitcher is an idiot and we are doomed to lose the game.

You don't yell at the TV? Wow! I thought all LSU fans yelled at the TV at the games! I thought all sports fans in general yelled at the TV during the games!

I pretty much have to watch LSU alone. I'm always screaming, throwing things, stomping and cursing like a bar full of sailors.

Back in 1966 we only had a black and white TV. Color sets were too expensive. My old aunt bought a new color TV because she loved football and the Saints were created.

We went over to her house to watch the first game. Her reaction: "shite, I went and bought a color TV and the Saints uniforms are black and white!"

I wish my relatives were that passionate about LSU sports. What makes watching with my relatives hard is that they know absolutely nothing about LSU and ask questions throughout the game about who the player is at the plate or when the regional tournament starts; I guy actually asked me that last week.
