If you can afford to lose a deposit in case they don't make it. Places are scouted, hearing LSU peeps are starting to call, have been increasing, and prices gonna shoot up Jan 2nd a bit, then just go up n up n up each week ya wait. Air BnB I have no clue.
Today I reserved a few spots for my rv around Omaha (one on the Platte west of Town, Council Bluffs for the poker rooms, downtown for tailgating n Barrett's Barleycorn) for the CWS. Hope I don't lose my deposits, but I have had a gut feeling about this year since JJ arrived, and the #1 ranking pretty much sealed it.

How many teams ranked #1 at beginning of season stay there until end of season. Zero.

Tiger fans beware. In 2021 and 2022, the clearly best team in the SEC (Arkansas, then Tennessee) won the SEC title and SECTY title and both lost in the Supers.

We’ll be there 18th-23rd and hopefully longer. Staying at Harrah’s Council Bluffs.
Been booked for months. Can cancel up to a week before. Which is when we’ll punch our ticket. Our first trip there. Looking forward to it.

Booked one way flights on SWA as soon as they were available. Need to deal with hotel now, but cancellation policies make it impossible.

If I were going I would definitely make reservations now. There are eight teams and fans going to this so hotels fill quickly; unless you want to stay many miles away.

Baseball can be an odd sport at times. The best team in the country losing 2/3 to a Top 20 team in a Super is not some rare or “Miracle on Ice” type upset. That’s baseball.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but the last time I went was in 2009 and we were able to get a room at the team hotel the week before.
