I don't.

But it would be awesome if we did.

I think he's more realistic than some of the other names but still not sure if it's that realistic.

I think the list is
Drew
Collins
????

Drew is sort of in a tough spot
Kansas is tops in conference
Texas is tops in state
Waco is sort of remote
Facilities are ok
Religious school environment

What he built at Baylor is amazing

The SEC is wide open
LSU has a great history
Nice facilities
Lots of money
Recruits miss/la/Nola/Houston

He would be a God at LSU and is the sort of salesman LSU needs to build bridges and sell tickets

If he turned down Illinois, a very good basketball school in a hotbed of talent that makes our state look poor, there is a slim to none chance he would come here.

Makes our state look poor? I don't see Illinois anywhere near our athletic departments level of profit.

We gon have to pay. He makes 1.7 right now and he also needs a large recruiting budget for extensive....travelling. It would be worth it though.

In the context of basketball talent.

The only thing in all of this that I know with certainty is that money is not an obstacle.

Drew would be as good as anyone I could hope for. If LSU offered him 3 mill. I'd be fine with it.

Why earl? Because I expect our ad to pay for a top coach?

Again, Illinois has to share that talent pool with a ton of other schools. La. isn't bare, I'll put our athletes against any other state. Our high school coaching is probably pretty poor compared to Illinois.

Missouri has a better overall resume with Chicago recruits than Illinois does

It's still the state school though and basically in the middle of the talent bed. The right hire makes them an immediate player will all those kids. It's a good job. Why are you arguing that it's not when it clearly is?

We have only had like 4 SEC quality players come out of La. high schools since 2008.
