He did the right thing having Lange go the whole way tonight.

But I'm not sure why we didn't keep the bunt on after the wild pitch.

THE next two guys struck out. Tell me how a bunt with Watson helps?

He's absolutely awful in late game decisions. Not bunting there was just an absolutely absurd call.

I 100% agree. He just seems clueless most of the time. Maybe he thought we had the game won like UNO.

It was infuriating watching batter after batter swing wildly at pitches 3 feet outside of the strike zone.

I can't believe he wanted to bunt the guy to 2nd. But then NOT want to bunt him to 3rd with no outs and down 1.

Guy at 3rd with 1 out gives the pitcher more to think about.

Not keeping the bunt on with Watson up was the worst thing I've ever seen. Fireable offense.

It's impossible to say how the pitcher would have reacted had the tying run been on 3rd.

Maybe he goes limp and throws another wild pitch. Maybe the pitching is called a bit different.

It's because they were being called strikes.

You idiots don't understand how the game changes with the man advancing to third with one out? Pitching changes and it shifts pressure onto the defense. One passed ball and the game is tied...
