This thread should never have been resurrected... the original 'last' post was 3 freakin' weeks ago, for God's sake... the difference between now and then is like night and day.. that is why NCAA and MLB play a 'preseason', to get every one on the team up to speed... right now, after the 3rd game of the 3rd SEC series of the year, the LSU pitching staff leads the SEC, and probably most of the NCAA, in almost all pitching stats, certainly in most of the 'important' pitching stats... why this was resurrected is anyone's guess, but there are already many more threads about this exact subject, and also many more about the much more pertinant thread, problems with hitting... I thought the same as 'The Savant', that this thread was really about the hitting probs... sheesh...

Those reasons are exactly why it was resurrected.

The original poster was flipping out about our pitching barely 10 games into the season.

WAYYYYY too soon.

If we don't win every game, if we dont score double digit runs, or if we allow any runs, the wheels are comming off the team.....

Thats the short sided view of some around here

I wouldnt say the wheels are coming off, but the lack of hitting is becoming a bit of a concern. Sorry if this has already been talked about, but didnt Grewe primarily work with hitters before becoming our pitching coach?
