Mac's obviously going to get a "take it or leave it" deal at the end of the week.
I could say I think he's staying/I think he's leaving. No body knows right now including Marshall.
One thing favoring LSU is the close ties he's made not only with the freshman baseball class but football class as well over the last 5 weeks.

He agreed to 6.5 several weeks ago which was under slot. When he arrived in Houston for his physical and to sign all of the arm issues surfaced.
So the offer dropped from 6.5 to 5.

Nix didn't sign yet. He agreed to terms. The Astros would be run by imbeciles if they signed someone for significantly over slot before Aiken officially signed.

I think that was the offer/agreement but nothing was signed yet.?

He hasn't signed because they have to wait to see if Aiken signs. If he doesn't they forfeit that 7 million and wouldn't have enough to sign him without losing a draft pick.
