Hey that is great for him, Les Miles is the 4th highest paid college coach. But what all the posi-tigers have to understand is this is business. When you are paid the 4th highest pay in your industry you need to perform to that standard also. Meaning a 10-3 record, finishing 14th in the polls and losing in the bowl game WILL NOT SUFFICE.

I don't care about the 90's that period is over and no coach for LSU during that period was ever paid the 4th highest salary in college football. You want to make the big bucks, you need to perform like you get paid. Top 5 recruiting classes, Top 5 finishes in the polls and winning championships is what is expected of you because how much we pay you, And anyone that doesn't understand this needs to go back to LSU and take a few business courses. You get a mulligan every 4 to 5 years because things happen, this year is your mulligan Les. Next year you don't you mulligan is used up. You are a professional, perform like you get paid and if you don't have the talent to do it yourself then get the right people beside you, like a new OC.

the reason you couldn't get it in the first place is the reason why you praise Mile's you frickin moron!

I'll ask again. Who's out there that you would want at LSU instead of Les right now?

Look, man Chizik is gone because his incompetence came to light post Cam, but Mile's will continue to get a pass because these clowns love the fact he wins 10 games a season. To them that justifies his salary!

yes, gene chizick went winless in the conference. LSU finished runner up in their division to the national champions. les has done something chizick hasn't done at any point in his career, sustain success. yes miles gets a pass for winning 10 game every year because winning 10 games every year makes you one of the best coaches in the country

You can't understand the title "National Championship" Jackass?? I guess you need me to spell it out correctly for you proper dicks!! Listen, you assholes can argue all you want about him winning games, the so clled 13 game win season you mentioned was blown and wasted because this idiot couldn't and refused to open up the offense against Alabama, but all you can think about is the 13 games, pumper!! You people are pathetic like I said, and Miles will always have a home because of assholes like you!

All I could understand out of that jumbled mess is "I'm a whiny little pussy"

What all the people like you need to understand is that he finished 2nd in the country in 2011. Is that acceptable enough to be the 4th highest paid coach?

Do you think that his salary should flucuate every single season based on the performance in the previous season? Or do you just want to say he isn't doing his job when we only win 10 games.

Better question is,"Who is out there that will guarantee national championships?"

and with the business of college football, you don't take 1 slightly disappointing season to judge the entirety of a coach's body of work. alabama went 10-3 the year after saban's national title in 2009. would you say the same thing about him? my guess would be no

Better than your question is " Will he ever beat Saban, again?"

Lost 21-17 on the last play of the game basically in 2012. No, we probably won't ever beat Saban again. Ever.

So he doesn't get paid until he beats your hero? The same hero that gave LSU the finger? The same hero that said "Screw you " to LSU and jumped to the NFL?
That hero?

right there is where you are wrong. The last 6 seasons have been disappointing. I'll give a pass for 2008, but after that, no way.

Only thing in there that bothers me is the massive buyout and that we are not protected at all if another party lures him away.

one coach gets paid by winning national championship and other by hunting for other jobs...not sure who the stand up guy is and who the satan is to be honest now

I like how you listed 2 of the coaches on that list. Tell me, on this list of extremely high coaches, which were the last 2 to win a national championship?

When was the last time Bob Stoops won? How many has he won?
When was the last time Mack Brown won? How many has he won?

Go back to soccer.
