Oh, and don't expect any punt returns. WE HAVE A BETTER CHANCE AT THAT. Our punter is 38 yards straight up. Your dude is 60 yards but out kicks his coverage.
LSU's special teams on punts have given up 8 inches this yr on average..you need to rethink what you typed a bit...

Good point. I guess I was thinking about some of those long punts from UGA game and that 70 yrdr against us. I still seriously doubt HB gets any return yards and if you kick one of those 60's to Maze he will run one back now that he's healthy.

Be honest. you really think bama won 5 of the last 4 years.

5 of the last 4 would be pretty good. LOL

But Rivals had us 3 of the last 4. We were #1 in 08' and 09', 5th in 10' and #1 last year. Its splitting hairs for most years in the top 5 but that's what they have on record. Go look for yourself if you don't believe me.

I'm hoping we can get 2 quick TD's. If we do McCarron will start pressing which could unravel Bama.

To claim that bama has better depth than LSU is absolutely 100% ridiculous. So bamas recruiting has been slightly higher rated than LSUs lately. Big whoop. Those are ratings; estimations. LSU has either recruited smarter or developed players better or both. Also most recruiting experts were wrong on LSUs best player. What was HB7 rated? 2 star? 3 star?

There's a sentiment going around that bama is the only team LSU can't wear down. I disagree. It will be neck and neck for 3 quarters but LSUs depth will mean domination in the 4th quarter. I also don't think mccarron has what it takes in a game like this. He will crumble. I'm calling at least 1 LSU TD on offense, defense, and special teams.

31-7 LSU

don't agree with that score, but we can wear Bama down, just not as much as we can other teams. They have every bit as much depth and talent with that depth as we do. We wore them down enough to be able to run the ball better in the 2nd half and got the option going a little when their LBs were gassed. Having Hilliard doing what he has been doing helps us a whole lot, and we didn't have him playing last game like we have since. But no, we're not going to wear Bama down like we did UGA or any other team we played where they just couldn't stop us on the ground in the 2nd half. Bama is better than any other defense we've played all year by a lot. If we win, I doubt we win by more than 10-14 points. Neither defenses are built to get blown out. I just wonder how conservative both coaches will be. usually in big games, it's a slow chess match to start while the teams try to figure out the other, but seeing as the teams have played already this season, I'd expect Saban and Miles to be more willing to take some chances on offense.

Well there were a whole bunch of big name programs that wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole because of his height, including bama.

it's more the fact that Wing gets an absurd amount of hang time and the gunners on LSU being outstanding getting back there. Ron Brooks is one of the fastest guys on the team and probably the best special teams player on the defensive side. Mathieu also is another gunner and, as you know, is just a ball hawk and knows how to get down there. Wing is also prob the best punter I've seen in awhile with the placement of his kicks. He doesn't have the strongest leg in college football but he's as good as he is because he can put the ball wherever he wants most of the time.

My score may be a little high, but I am predicting with my crystal ball that LSU will score 14 non-offensive points.

I got Bama 4 LSU 3. We get our second saftey on last play of the game when JJ fell over his shoe laces trying to run the clock out.

and we didn't???

Gay J will not get those blown coverages this game that he got on TR and a couple on other guys maybe it was hanks or maze, cannot recall. we will use PA rollouts with floods which is more suited to JJ's strenths versus the pocket.
